Bhabhua : The villagers attacked police and damaged their vehicle at village Chand under Bhabhua police station when they went there to nab a liquor smuggler. The villagers even fired in the air and tried to free the liquor smuggler frompolice custody but Kaimur police arrested Kripa Shankar Tiwari, a liquor smuggler, and seized 151 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) near village Kekadha on the Bhabhua-Chand main road on July 28, 2017, evening. Later, police sent the liquor smuggler to jail.
SHO, Bhabua police station, Rajiv Ranjan said that an FIR has been lodged with Bhabhua police station against anti social elements in connection with attack on police force. An FIR was also lodged against the arrested liquor smuggler.
