Bhabhua : Hundreds of activists of Jan Adhikar Party (JAP) on January 10, 2022, stopped Kalka Mail at Bhabhua Road railway station in Kaimur District in South Bihar paralysing movement of trains for about half-an-hour.. The JAP workers boarded the engine of the train and raised slogans against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The JAP activists reached Bhabhua Road railway station in procession on January 10 and tried to enter the platform but over two dozen GRP and RPF personnel prevented them from entering the platform. In the meantime, former Bhabhua MLA Ramchandra Yadav reached there and the JAP activists, under his leadership, scuffled with the police personnel and entered the platform and stopped Kalka mail. Later, police somehow removed the protesters and movement of train could be restored.

Former MLA Ramchandra Yadav said that they paralysed movement of train for implementation of MSP for farmers and restoration of services of Panchayat Secretary. He further alleged that the Modi Government was torturing the farmers. He added that the Nitish Government in Bihar had appointed panchayat secretary for two years and later removed them. He demanded regularisation of their services.
