Sitamarhi: The SSB patrolling teams seized 240 bottles of Nepali liquor, a motorbike, a bicycle and arrested two smugglers on Indo–Nepal border in Sitamarhi district on November 7, 2017, near border pillars close Bairgania block township. The arrested liquor smugglers were identified as Mohd Asgar Alam, a resident of East Champaran, and Ram Kumar Paswan, a native of Sitamarhi district. During interrogation, they said that they had earlier crossed the border to bring liquor from Nepal.
