Sitamarhi court sentences 2 accused to life imprisonment for murder

Sitamarhi: Court of Sitamarhi FTC II, R P Thakur, on November 7, 2017, sentenced to life imprisonment two persons :Narendra Singh and Bholi Singh, for killing one Ravindra Singh of village Narkatia under Majorganj Block in Sitamarhi district, in a dispute over unloading place and installation of a transformer in 2013.

Both the convicted persons are brothers and residents of village Narkatia. Former Mukhiya Kumari Devi, another accused, was acquitted due to insufficient evidence. She is wife of Narendra Singh.
Ravindra Singh, a resident of village Narkatia, was shot dead following a feud over the placement of a Bihar State Power ( Holding) Compant Limited transformer at the village in 2013. The deceased’s brother Devendra Singh had lodged a murder case against the three aforesaid persons in this connection.
