Sitamarhi : Mahindwara police station (PS) Junior Sub-Inspector Shanti Prakash Kujur was on February 19, 2022, arrested and forwarded to jail for allegedly outraging the modesty of a woman in Sitamarhi District in North Bihar for months promising to marry her. The woman is a resident of village Dhankaul under Bajpatti Block in Sitamarhi District and runs a shop at Pupri Bazaar, said police souces.
The survivor, in her FIR lodged a few months back, accused Junior Sub-Inspector Shanti Prakash Kujur of fraudulently alluring and outraging her modesty for months on the promise to marry her in future when was posted at Pupri police station in the district. He was transferred from Pupri to Mahindwara police station a few months back. The survivor recently registered her version in a Sitamarhi Court.
