RPF arrests three persons for riding bike at Saharsa rly station

Saharsa : Railways Protection Force (RPF), Saharsa, on August 5, 2017, arrested three persons for  ride bike at Saharsa railway station while six persons were arrested for riding bicycles during a special drive conducted on platform number 1 of the station. RPF Inspector Arjun Kumar Yadav said that three persons were arrested for smoking on the railway platform while a passenger was arrested for travelling without ticket.

Altogether 13 persons were arrested from platform number 1,Saharsa Railway station, RPF Inspector Yadav said adding the three bike riders were forwarded to Khagaria jail while the others were released after realising Rs 2,200 as fine from them. RPF SI Ramesh Kumar and ASI Niwas Kumar were among themembers of RPF team that conducted the special drive.

Injured : A newspaper Baban Kumar Jha was seriously injured when a truck dashed him near Saharsa College gate under Sadar police station on August 5, 2017, morning. He was admitted to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa, where the doctors referred him to Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH).
