Man stabbed to death in Bhojpur

Ara : Kamlesh Pandit, 25, son of  Dhanji Pandit was stabbed to death at Matukpur Bazaar under Barhara police station in Bhojpur district around 10pm on October 14, 2017.  An FIR has been lodged with Barahara police station but no arrest has so far been made in this regard. Police brought the body over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem on October 15 morning.

SHO, Barhara police station, Kundan Kumar said that Chhotu Mian, son of Idrish Mian, had come to have water from a handpump at Matukpur Bazaar but the owner of the handpump Dhanji Pandit prevented him from taking water in a pail filled with fish. Infuriated, Chhote Mian along with his associates allegedly stabbed to death Kamlesh Pandit, son of Dhanji Pandit, when he was returning home from the market around 10 pm on October 14 between Manichhapra Hospital and Brahm Baba Sthan, the SHO said.
