Dineshwar Singh said that his wife Tiljharo Devi had won panchayat election from Koel panchayat in 2011. A youth was married at village Belaur Chhapara but he deserted his wife after some days of marriage. Two FIRs were lodged by both the parties and the youth was sent to jail. After his release from jail, he alleged that the former mukhia was responsible for it and that was bone of contention in between the two, Dineshwar Singh said. He said that when he was sleeping in his house on February 27, 2022, night, about 15 armed miscreants fired at his gate. Hearing the sound, he came out of the house and the miscreants shot at and injured him and escaped.
