Farmer killed in field at Bhojpur village

Ara : Some unidentified persons slit throat of a farmer Krishnadeo Chaudhary, 55, and killed him at village Ramdatahi  under Shahpur police station in Bhojpur distrit around midnight on October 14, 2017, when he and his wife were sleeping in their field. Police recovered the body from the field on October 15 morning and brought it over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. An FIR has been lodged with Shahpur police station but no arrest has so far been made in this connection.

SHO, Shahpur police station, said that Krishnadeo Chaudhary 55, of village Ramdatahi had gone to his field along with his wife in the night on October 14 and was sleeping when some unidentified armed persons slit his throat and escaped. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
