Lalu demand CBI probe into fraudulent drawals of govt fund

Patna : RJD chief Lalu Prasad on August 12, 2017, demanded CBI probe into fraudulent drawal of  Rs 1,000 crore government fund by Bhagalpur based NGO Srijan Mahila Vikas Sahyog Samiti during past few years.

There is involvement of the banks too in the scam, Lalu said adding everything would be clear if the CBI conducts a probe into it. Lalu said the RJD would also request the CAG to order a special audit into huge fraudulent drawals from thegovernment accounts. He also demanded dismissal of Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi for his alleged links with the NGO founder.

Meanwhile, Bhagalpur SSP Manoj Kumar said that fraudulent drawal of funds had crossed Rs 600 crore so far in investigation.
