Bhabhua : Kaimur district administration cancelled license of a fertiliser dealer Krishna Prasad Kesari and also instituted a named FIR against him with  Chainpur police station for hoarding fertiliser illegally at his godown. The district administration also sealed his shop.

SDO, Janmejey Shukla, District Agriculture Officer(DAO) Lalita Prasad, and the DSP Ajay Prasasd, on a tip off, had jointly conducted raids at a fertilizer shop, Mahamaya Enterprises, at Hata Bazaar on April 28, 2019,  evening, and seized 8,000 bags of Urea and DAP fertiliser stored at the godown during the kharif season. They quizzed shop owner Krishna Prasad Kesari and when his reply was not found satisfactory, the Block Agriculture Officer, Chainpur, instituted a named FIR against him with Chainpur police station.

The DAO said that the shop owner had purchased the fertiliser from Uttar Pradesh and other places and hoarded themto sell them in the black market. He said that his shop was sealed and his license was also cancelled. The DAO said that the seized fertiliser would be distributed among the farmers during kharif season.
