Two persons killed, 2 injured in Kaimur accident

Bhabhua : Two persons including a woman were killed and two others seriously injured when a speeding Scorpio overturned on the road near Bhitti Kutia on G T Road under Bhabhua police station in Kainur district on April 29, 2019, morning. Police brought the bodies over to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital for post-mortem and admitted the injured there. Police also seized the Scorpio.

SHO, Bhabhua police station, said that four persons of a family from village Badhauna under Medannagar police station in Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, were going to Kolkata, West Bengal, in their private Scorpio on April 29. When they reached near Bhitti Kutia, the speeding Scorpio jumped about five feet in the air and overturned on the road. Priyanka Singh was thrown about 20 feet away on the road and was killed on spot while her husband, brother-in-law, daughter, and driver were injured. The locals took them out of the Scorpio and rushed them to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital where the doctor referred the driver Phulband to Varanasi but he succumbed to his injuries on way to Varanasi near Chandauli.
