Two persons killed in Sitamarhi accident

Sitamarhi : Two bike borne persons : Sonu Das, around 30, and Ramesh Das, 32, both residents of village Thumma in Sitamarhi district, were crushed to death by a speeding truck on NH 77 near village Suhai under Dumra police station on June 23, 2019, evening. The driver along with truck sped away towards Sitamarhi. The deceased were going to Runnisaidpur.

Angry villagers blocked Sitamarhi–Muzaffarpur road for several hours after the accident that caused a lot of hardships to daily passengers and commuters. Officials led by Dumra BDO Mukesh Kumar pacified the villagers after which the blocked was lifted.
