Two persons killed, 1 injured in Ara accident

Ara : Two labourers were killed and one injured when a speeding tractor collided head-on with a motorcycle near Zamira Mathia under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district on July 31, 2019, late evening.

Police brought the bodies over to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem while the injured was admitted to a private clinic at Ara. The deceased were identified as Satyendra Rai and Manjar Rai while the injured was identified as Shakti Kumar of village Zamira.

SHO, Ara Muffassil police station, said that Satyendra Rai, Manjar Rai, and Shakti Kumar had gone to the site at village Chandi on July 31 morning. When they were returning to their village on a motorcycle in the late evening, a speeding tractor collided head-on with the motorcycle near Zamira Mathia under Ara Muffassil police station killing Satyendra Rai and Manjar Rai on spot and injuring Shakti Kumar who is struggling for life at a private clinic.
