Sasaram court issues non-bailable warrant of arrest against 4 persons

Sasaram : Additional District and Sessions Judge VI, civil court, Sasaram, Anant Singh, on April 27, 2019, issued non-bailable warrant of arrest against four persons including Rinku Singh, a BJP leader and RLSP candidate from Dehri-on-Sone assembly constituency in 2015, for not appearing in the court in connection with a case of communal riot at Dehri-on-Sone in August 2016.

The court sources said that the BJP leader and others were allegedly inciting communal riot at Barah Patthar Road Zama Mosque under Dehri Town police station on August 31, 2016. The then SHO, Dehri police station, Sanjay Kumar had lodged a named FIR against Rinku Singh and other for allegedly fomenting communal tension and  interferring in government work. The court had ordered all the named accused to appear before it in person. All of them appeared before it except for Rinku Singh and three others. Taking serious note of it, the court issued non-bailable warrant of arrest against them.
