Teenage college girl raped by 3 youth in Rohtas, all 3 arrested

Sasaram :  A case of rape of a teenage girl by three youth on April 26, 2019, at a hotel near Cinema Road under Dehri police station in Rohtas district came to light on April 27. The accused also threatened her with dire consequences if she dared say anything to police about the incident. An FIR was lodged with Women’s police station in this connection and police arrested all the three accused includng Baijnath Kumar and Rohit Kumar of New Area under Dehri police station.

SHO, Women’s police station, Shobha Rani, quoting the FIR, said that the girl who hails from village Gamharia  under Akodhigola police station in Rohtas district, had gone to college at Mathurapur on April 26, 2019, when three youth forcibly took her to a hotel in a car where they outraged her modesty.

After institution of the FIR,  police, on the direction of Rohtas SP Satyaveer Singh, conducted raids in Mathuri, Station Road, and New Area localities and arrested all the three accused including Baijnath Kumar who along with his two friends had allegedly raped the girl.
