RJD sponsored bandh affects transport services in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi: Movement of of trains a well road transport services were disrupted in Sitamarhi district during the  RJD sponsored Bihar Bandh call on December 21, 2017. A large number of RJD workers and supporters led by some former ministers, former MPs and sitting MLAs Sunil Kumar and Mangita Devi took out protest march in  Sitamarhi Town areas raising slogans against Nitish Government’s sand mining and stone quarrying  policy. Daily commuters and IGNOU examinees were hard hit during the bandh. Even autorickshaws did not ply till 2 pm. The Bandh supporters burt old tyres at several points in the district.
