Mystery shrouds Sitamarhi woman’s death, hubby arrested

Sitamarhi: The Riga police in Sitamarhi district on December 21, 2017, seized the body of Sunita Devi, 37, from cremation ground amid much hue and cry by local people as mystery shrouds her death. She died under mysterious circumstances, alleged her father Satan Mahto. He informed police that his daughter had been killed for not begetting a male child. She had three daughters in eight years of her marriage to Imli Bazar Riga resident Lal Babu Mahto. Satan belongs to Bathanaha. Police have arrested Lal Babu and are searching for his other family members.
