Raid conducted at Buxar Central Jail

Buxar : A team of Buxar district administration led by the SDO Gautam Kumar conducted raid at Buxar Central Jail on June 18, 2017,  and searched every ward of the jail. The raid ripples created among the jail inmates though, no objectionable item was seized during the raid. SDO Gautam Kumar said that it was a routine raid but added it conducted after information that objectionable items had reached the Buxar Central jail, which had hit the headlines after escape of seven prisoners in December 2016.
