Buxar : Bike borne miscreants snatched a motorcycle, mobile phone, and cash from a youth near Mishrawalia under Chausa police station (PS) in Buxar District in South Bihar when he was going to Buxar railway station on his motorcycle on February 20, 2022, evening. The miscreants escaped from the scene with the booty firing in the air. Police recovered a motorcycle and a blank cartridge from the spot.
Shahidd of Bara in Uttar Pradesh said that he was going to Buxar railway station under Danapur Division of East Central Railway, Hajipur, on his motorcycle on February 20, 2022, late evening, to receive his brother when motorcycle borne about half-a-dozen unidentified armed miscreants overtook and intercepted him near Daitara Baba between Mishrawalia and Hadipur main road and snatched his motorcycle, mobilephone, and cash at pistol point. They also fired on him but he had a narrow escape. Later, the miscreants escaped from the scene with the booty but left their motorcycle behind as it ran short of petrol.
SHO, Buxar Muffasil police station, Amit Kumar, said that he rushed to the spot on getting information about the incident from the locals but the miscreants had escaped. An FIR has been lodged and police are investigating the matter and also conducting raids to arrest the miscreants.
