Ara : Police recovered body of a woman Laxminia Devi, 35, wife of Binay Bihari Ram, from her house at village Badka-Akhtiyarpur under Gajrajganj Police Outpost (OP) in Bhojpur district on August 14, 2018, and brought it over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for postmortem.
SHO, Gajrajganj OP, said that Laxminia Devi of village Masudhi village in Patna district was married to Binay Bihari Ram of village Badaka Akhitiyarpur under the police outpost and had two daughters. On August 13 night, Binay Bihari Rai came to his house in drunken state and allegedly thrashed his wife to death. Later, police arrested Binay Bihari Ram in connection with murder of his wife and sent him to jail.
