Police arrest arms dealer at Ara, seize firearms

Ara : Bhojpur police, on a tip off, conducted raids at a house in Sri Tola locality under Nawada police station, Ara, on May 6, 2019,  night, and seized two countrymade pistols, an eight round revolver, and three live cartridges from there. Police also arrested the owner of the house Ram Surat Ram for dealing in arms, lodged an FIR, and sent him to jail after interrogation. He confessed his involvement in arms dealing.

SHO, Nawada police station, said that on the direction of Bhojpur SP Aditya Kumar, he along with police force conducted raids in Sri Tola locality and arrested a arms smuggler Ram Surat Ram and seized two countrymade pistols, an eight round revolver and three live cartridges from his house.
