Police recover kidnapped girl from Bhojpur village, kidnapper held

Ara : Police on May 7, 2019, arrested Saddam Mansoori of village Chhaparapur under Narayanpur police station in Bhojpur district for kidnapping sister-in-law of his elder brother with a view to marrying her. Saddam Mansoori was sent to jail. Police also recovered the girl from his house and brought her over to Ara Sadar Hospital on May 7 for medical examination. Police will also produce her before the court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC.

SHO, Narayanpur police station, said that the elder brother of Saddam Mansoori was married at a village under Sikarhatta police station. After the marriage of his brother, Saddam Mansoori frequently visited his in-laws’s place  and fell in love with his sister-in-law (saali) but her parents did not like it. Meanwhile, the marriage of the girl was settled. Infuriated, Saddam Mansoori kidnapped the girl on April 22, 2019, and also threatened her would be in-laws with dire consequences.

A named FIR was lodged with Narayanpur police station against Saddam Mansoori in connection with kidnapping of the girl. After institution of FIR, police swung into action and arrested Saddam Manssori from Chhaparapur village and also recovered the girl from his house.
