5 criminals kill youth in front of his father in Bhojpur, no arrest

Ara : Five miscreants  killed Golu Singh, 22, of village Alipur in front of his father near village Zamira under Ara Muffasil police station in Bhojpur district around 10 pm on May 5, 2019. When his father requested the assailants to spare his son, the miscreants thrashed him and shooed him away.

A named FIR was lodged with Ara Muffasil police station against five persons including Lalan Mahto and his son Bheem Mahto but no accused has been arrested so far. The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.

SHO, Ara Muffasil police station, Ravindra Ram, said that Birendra Kumar Singh of village Alipur village was going to his village from Zamira Halt with his son Golu Singh, 22, on a motorcycle on May 5, 2019, late evening. On way, they stopped at village Zamira to attend call of nature when five miscreants wielding lathis reached there and lynched Golu Singh to death and also plucked out the nail of his thumb. When Birendra Kumar Singh requested them to spare life of his son, the miscreants also thrashed him.  Birendra Kumar Singh informed police, who recovered the body and brought it to Ara Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Sources said that five named accused in a theft case had killed Golu Singh.
