Mysterious disease kills 12 kids at Bikramganj Hospital in 25 days

Sasaram : Twelve minor children have died due to a mysterious disease during last 25 days at Karuna Hospital under Bikramganj Sub-Division in Rohtas district but the Civil Surgeon, Rohtas, and Bikramganj SDO, Vijyant, yet to respond to it though the Hospital administration apprised them of the situation.

Dr Kamendra Kumar Singh, Karuna Hospital, Bikramganj, said that 12 minor children died due to a mysterious disease. Dr Singh said that he informed the Bikramganj SDO and Civil Surgeon, Rohtas, for necessary action in this connection. He added that the children complained of vomiting, loose motion and ache in stomach and later they fainted and died within hours and he is unable to diagnose the disease. All efforts to contact the CS and the SDO on mobile failed.
