Youth arrested in Rohtas for blackmailing girl to force her to marry him

Sasaram : A teenage girl lodged a named FIR with  Kochas police station in Rohtas district against Pintu Sah, son of Ravi Sah of village Laheri under Kochas police station, on August 17, 2018, evening, charging him with making her photographs viral on the social media and blackmailing her after she refused to marry her. Police arrested Pintu Sah immediately.

SHO, Kochas police station, Nand Kumar Singh said that Pintu Sah of village Laheri loved the girl and wanted to marry her and had taken some snaps of her with himself. Later, Pintu Sah pressurized the girl to marry him and when she refused, he blackmailed her and also made their photographs viral on the social media on July 30, 2018. He also threatened her and her parents with dire consequences.

The girl also alleged that on July 30, 2018, Pintu Sah and his sister Manju Devi came to her when no one was present at the house and compelled her to marry Pintu Sah and added that Pintu Sah teased her. The SHO said that Pintu  and the girl study in Class VIII at the same school of the village. Pintu Sah said that his friend stole some of their photographs from his mobile and tried to contact the girl and when they failed, they made the photographs viral on the social media in his name.
