Ara : Some armed persons killed one Siddhi Chaudhary, 40, in the wee hour on September 18, 2018, with sharpedged weapon at village Kachhuyi under Piro police station in Bhojpur district when he was sleeping. Police brought the body over to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for post-mortem. A named FIR was lodged with Piro police station against eight persons in this connection but the accused are yet to be arrested.

Station House Officer, Piro police station, said that Siddhi Chaudhary of village Dhankutia under Natwar police station in Rohtas district was living with his in-laws’ at village Kachhuyi since his marriage which some villagers objected to. On September 17 night, some villagers came in drunken state and asked Siddhi Chaudhary to return to his native village but he did not pay attention to it and went to sleep outside the house. In the wee hour on Septembder 18, eight armed persons killed him with sharpedged weapon and escaped.
