Man commits suicide at Buxar village

Buxar : Fed up with frequent family dispute, Manoj Mahto, son of Ashok Mahto, committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of a room at his house at village Dhanchhua  under Nawanagar police station in Buxar district on April 7, 2018, morning. The family members, with a view to escape police inquiry, threw the body into river Thoda and fled away. Police have taken one person under their custody for interrogation.

SHO, Nawanagar police station, Junaid Alam said that Manoj Mahto, a farmer, had a tiff with his wife on April 6, 2018, night,after which he committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling of a room at his house. He said that the arrested person revealed that they threw the body into the river. The SHO said that police pressed divers into service but the body had not been fished out till the filing of the report.
