Sitamarhi: Sitamarhi District and Sessions judge Sanjay Priya, in a judgment on Tuesday, awarded ten years’ rigorous imprisonment (RI) to Mukesh Mishra in a case of kidnapping of a minor girl of village Sirsi under Runnisaidpur police station. The court also slapped a fine of Rs 25,000 on the convict. In an FIR lodged by the father of the girl, Mukesh was charged with kidnapping the a girl with the intention to marry her. Police had rescued the girl later on.
