Patna: A single bench of Patna high court presided by Justice Hemant Kumar Srivastava granted bail to independent MLA from Mokama Anant Singh in connection with a case lodged against him with Bihta police station in Patna district in 2014. In this case, the informant had alleged that Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias aju Thekedar was kidnapped by MLA and others in 2014. Earlier, his bail application was rejected by this court. Anant Singh was earlier in the JD(U).
