Muzaffarpur : More than 80,000 people under Sakra block in Muzaffarpur district are unable to reach the district headquarters as the Lahorna bridge between Maricha Chowk and Mahua Road on Sabaha NH 28 collapsed on September 19, 2019. The bridge was already in dilapidated condition and even damaged. The residents of six panchayats under Sakra block have been affected due to collapse of the Lahorna bridge as it has snapped their link link with the district headquarters. Seventeen other bridges over Tirhut canal under Musahari block in Muzaffarpur district are also in very poor shape.
