Governor throws light on glory of Goddess Sita and Lord Ram

Sitamarhi: Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind on May 3, 2017, threw light on the history and glory of Goddess Sita and Lord Rama from ancient time to modern age. ” For becoming a sensible citizen and betterment of society and the country, one must remember revered Sita and Ram,” said the Governor who was  in Sitamarhi for a day on the occasion of Janki Navami Mahotsava and was speaking at the Ram Katha function at Punaura Dham in the presence of Tulsi Pithadhishwar Swami Ram Bhadracharya ji Maharaj.

The ten- day Ram Katha function started on April 27, 2017. Prabhat Jha and Ram Kumar Sharma, both MPs, and former minister Sunil Kumar Pintu were prominent among those addressing the function.
