Ara : A named FIR was lodged with Nawada police station, Ara, in Bhojpur district, on August 14, 2017, against four persons including Bharat Singh Sahyogi, district president, Bhojpuria Jan Sangharsh Morcha, his two sons and an inmate of Ara jail Babloo Tatwa for allegedly demanding  Rs 1.5 lakh as `rangdari’  (extortion amount) from Vikramaditya Singh, state organising secretary, Shiv Sena. The FIR was lodged by Vikramaditya Singh.

Bharat Singh Sahyogi refuted all allegations against him and his sons saying Vikramaditya Singh had implicated them in a false case to settle family dispute. Vikramaditya Singh of village Bahiro under Nawada Police Station alleged that he received calls from Babloo Tatwa and others from two different mobile numbers on August 11 and August 12 demanding Rs 1.5 lakh as rangdari threatening him with dire consequences if he failed to pay the amount.
