Farmer succumbs to stab injuries

Sitamarhi: Ram Lakhan Kushawaha, 48, a farmer and resident of village Dhurwar under Parsauni police station in Sitamarhi, who was stabbed by some unidentified criminals on October 11, 2017, night, when he was going to Parsauni block headquarters, succumbed to his multiple stab injuries at Sri Krishna Medical College Hospital (SKMCH), Muzaffarpur, on October 12. Ram Lakhan was first rushed to Sadar hospital, Sitamarhi, and from there to SKMCH Muzaffarpur. The villagers attributed the incident to a protracted land dispute. Police are yet to arrest any criminal in connection with the incident.
