Ara : An FIR has been lodged with Udwantnagar police station in Bhojpur district on September 12, 2018, against 16 persons of which 8 are named accused in connection with murder of a youth Ajit Paswan alias Bhola Paswan at village Edaura under the police station. The FIR was lodged on the statement of deceased’s mother Parvati Kuer.
SHO, Udwantnagar police station, Rajiv Ranjan said that Ajit Paswan alias Bhola Paswan of village Edaura was missing from his house since September 9, 2018, and his body was found near rail track on September, 10, 2018, floating in the water of a ditch. The SHO said that someone had strangulated him to death and threw the body into the ditch.
The SHO said that Ajit Paswan had an old enmity with someone over 133 decimal of land at the village and a case was pending in the court in this connection.
