Differently abled teenage girl raped at Bhojpur village

Ara : Modesty of a physically challenged teenage girl was outraged at village Chakia under Ara Muffassil police station in Bhojpur district on September 11, 2018, evening. A named FIR has been lodged with Ara Woman police station against Raju Kumar of the same village on the statement of the girl but the accused is yet to be arrested. Police brought the girl to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for medical examination and will also produce her before the court to get her statement recorded under Section 164 of CrPC.

SHO, Woman Police Station, said that a differently abled 14 year old girl of village Chakia under Ara Muffassil police station had gone to the open field to attend call of nature on September 11, 2018, late evening, where a youth of the village Raju tied her mouth from behind and outraged her modesty. He also threatened her with dire consequences if she dared say anything to anyone about it. But, the girl, on her return from the field, narrated her ordeal to her parents. Her parents reached Ara Woman police station and lodged a named FIR against Raju. The SHO said that police were conducting raids to arrest the accused.
