Sitamarhi: Armed dacoits with their face covered looted cash and jewellery worth Rs 3 lakh from the house of Mahesh Thakur, a farmer, at village Vrindavan under Tariyani police station in Sheohar district in North Bihar on June 24, 2017, night. The villagers chased the dacoits but they fired a few shots in the air and fled away with the booty. According to SHO, Tariyani police station, Gorakh Ram, two voter identity cards were seized from the place of occurrence and raids were underway to nab the dacoits soon.
