Cash, assets worth Rs 5 lakh looted from trader’s house in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi : More than two dozens unidentified armed criminals committed dacoity at the house of a grocery merchant Rama Shankar Prasad on June 25, 2017, night, at village Kanhauli in Sitamarhi district. They assaulted the family members and looted valuables and cash worth Rs 5 Lakh.

Kanhauli police station SHO SK Mishra along with force chased the criminals but they managed to escape taking advantage of the darkness. The injured family members were provided medical
assistance. No one has been arrested in this connection so far. It may be mentioned here that in February 2017, dacoity was armed criminals had committed dacoity at the house of Virendra Kumar at village Kanhauli.
