Criminals loot Rs 65,000 from medicine shop in Sitamarhi

Sitamarhi:  Three armed goons looted Rs 65,000 from the cash box of a medicine shop of Vijay Bajaj at Barharwa Bazar under Majorganj police station in Sitamarhi district on August 30, 2017, evening.

The criminals have also demanded Rs 5 lakh as `Rangdari’ tax ( extortion amount) from the shop owner Vijay Bajaj to let him run his business. Bajaj has lodged an FIR against three local goons though none of them has been arrested so far. He also complained that a fortnight back too they had tried to intimidate him by firing a few rounds in the air after which he had lodged a case with police but no criminals was arrested No one has been arrested in this connection so far.
