Sitamarhi:  Unidentified armed criminals committed dacoity at the house of a retired teacher Ram Nath Rai at village Chainpura under Pupri Sub- division in Sitamarhi district on June 24, 2017, and looted jewellery and cash worth more than Rs 2 lakh. They entered the house by scaling the back courtyard wall. Police recovered a broken suitcase and three live countrymade bombs near a river embankment. None has been arrested in this connection so far.
