Constable’s son shot dead under Khajekalan PS

Patna : Mantosh Kumar, 32, son of a Constable Sadanand Thakur, was shot dead by 4 criminals on July 26, 2018, in Lalatoli locality, Mughalpura, under Khajekalan police station, Patna. Mantosh was married and had a child. He got married one-and-a-half-year back.

A named FIR was lodged by the deceased’s mother Champa Devi. Police refused to disclose the names of the named accused saying it would hamper the investigation into the case. Four criminals reportedly called Mantosh on his mobile in the afternoon and called him outside. Mantosh went out to meet them soon ignoring the heavy rains. The criminals thrashed him and then shot him dead.
