Patna : In an apparent move to promote agriculture in the state, Bihar governmnt on October 18, 2017, decided to introduce Agriculture as a subject at Intermediate Science level. Seventysix posts of teachers for Agriculture have been created in higher secondary schools across the state and government would spend Rs 1.83 crore for payment of salaries and allowances to them. A decision to this effect was taken on October 18 at the meeting of state cabinet chaired by Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.
