Vajpayee’s Ashthi Kalash immersed into Bagmati

Sitamarhi:  Asthi Kalash of former PM Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee was immersed into river Bagmati near village Kataujha on NH 77 in Sitamarhi district on August 23, 2018, evening, amid chanting of Vedic Hymes and recitations. A large gathering paid floral tributes on the departed soul ‘s Asthi Kalash. It was brought over from Patna. A large carcade followed the procession. Former minister Devesh Chandra Thakur, MLC, and former minister Sunil Kumar Pintu were among the prominent persons who received them at the district border point.
