Farmer seriously injured in attack by 3 persons at Saharsa village

Saharsa : Mithilesh Mukhia, 30, of village Jhara under Mahishi police station (PS) in Saharsa district was seriously injured when he was allegedly attacked by three persons with a sickle ( Kachia) on October 2, 2017, morning, after the former’s  buffalo entered their field. Mithilesh Mukhia was rushed to the Primary  Health Centre (PHC) where the doctor referred him to Sadar Hospital, Saharsa. At the Sadar Hospital, Mithilesh was given seven stitches.

Mithilesh’s mother Binda Devi alleged that he had left home in the morning with his buffalo for mowing in his field during which the buffalo entered Singho Mukhia’s field. Singho Mukhia, Ram Mukhia and Bachcha Lal started quarelling with Mithilesh and later attacked him with a sickle, she alleged. Police have recorded the statement of Mithilesh Mukhia and inquiring into the incident.
