Sitamarhi: Two unidentified bike borne criminals fired a few rounds in the air to terrorise gold merchants at Sonapatt Mahallah in Sitamarhi town on August 6, 2017, evening. Sunday happens to be a bussiness day in Sitamarhi district. After firing in the air, the criminals fled away towards Janki Mandir locality. Sitamarhi town police reached the spot within half an hour but none has been arrested in this connection so far. The locals attributed the incident to `Rangdari’ ( extortion) demand by the criminals.
