Saharsa : Birbal Yadav, son of Jaleshwar Yadav, a native of Maria rola in Bargaon panchayat under Basnahi police station in Saharsa district, was shot at and injured on June 4, 2017, in a land dispute allegedly by Ashish Yadav, son of Umesh Yadav. Jaleshwar Yadav and Umesh Yadav are involved in a long drawn land dispute. Both of them had heated exchange even on June 4.
Birbal Yadav was shot at when he had gone to Anant Yadav’s Mill to get his wheat crushed. He was waiting for his turn when Umesh Yadav reached there with some others and started abusing Birbal and also fired on him. The bullet Birbal’s leg and he was admitted to Saharsa Sadar hospital.
