Youth killed, friend injured as speeding dumper dashes bike in Bhojpur

Ara : A youth was killed and his friend injured when a speeding dumper dashed the motorcycle they were riding near Ramdas Tola under Jagdishpur police station in Bhojpur district around 9 pm on March 26, 2019, and escaped.

The locals rushed them to Referral Hospital, Jagidishpur, where one of them Ganesh Yadav, 22, a motorcycle mechanic and son of late Nand Kumar Yadav of village Doghara under Bihia police station, died during treatment while the doctor referred another injured Sunil Mahto of Doghara to Sadar Hospital, Ara, for better treatment. Police brought the body over to the Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

SHO, Jagdishpur police station, said that Ganesh Yadav along with his friend Sunil Mahto had gone to Bikramganj in Rohtas district on his motorcycle to fill up the examination form of his sister-in-law (bhabhi) on March 26, 2019. After filling up the form, they were returning home on the motorcycle. When they reached near Ramdas Tola under Jagdishpur police station, a speeding dumper dashed the motorcycle in which Ganesh Yadav was killed while Sunil Mahto was injured, the SHO added.
