Sitamarhi : Dina Mahto, 22, was crushed to death by a speeding truck near village Thumma on NH 77 on October 10, 2017. The deceased belonged to village Thumma under Runnisaidpur block in Sitamarhi district. Angry over the death of Dina Mahto in the accident, the villagers blocked the Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur road for several hours causing hardships to commuters and daily passengers. Finally, the officials pacified the villagers and traffic was restored on the road.
