Woman ousted from house by in-laws in

Buxar : A newly married woman was ousted from her house by her in-laws at Buxar in Buxar district on May 28, 2017, evening, for not fulfilling their dowry demands. A named FIR was lodged with Woman police station, Buxar, in this connection.

SHO, Woman Police Station, Kanchan Kumari said that Santosh Kumar of village Khuraitha under Dhansoi police station solemnised marriage of his daughter Sunita Kumari on May 7, 2017. From the first day, her in-laws allegedly tortured her for dowry and  also beat her up and when their demands were not forced fulfilled, they dragged her out of the house, the SHO said.
