Kaimur : A married woman, with the help of her lover, allegedly poisoned to death her husband at village Kewa under Chainpur police station in Kaimur district on March 15, 2019, night.
Kainur SP Dilnawaz Ahmad said that Sheela Devi, wife of Anil Sharma of village Kewa under Chainpur police station, allegedly had relation with a quack of the village Arun Sharma. Arun Sharma ran a clinic ‘Mahadev’ at Chainpur where Sheela Devi worked as nurse. When their relation came to the knowledge of Anil Sharma, he protested it and prevented Sheela Devi from going to the clinic. But, Sheela Devi continued to visit the clinic. When her husband mounted pressure, she hatched a plan and with the help of Arun Sharma allegedly poisoned her husband to death, the SP said.
The SP said that a named FIR has been lodged with Chainpur police station against Sheela Devi and Arun Sharma on the statement of Murahu Sharma, father of the deceased. Police arrested Sheela Devi and are conducing raids to arrest Arun Kumar, the SP said.
